Every knife, axe and handmade piece is made after you order. Allow production time before the parcel starts its journey to you.

Each product is prepared for that order: forged or finished, checked and packed before dispatch. That is why checkout is not same-week delivery.

After dispatch, the parcel travels to the address you gave at checkout.
Larger orders may take longer
Multiple-item or custom orders can need more than 7–12 business days in production. If that happens we will make reasonable efforts to send an updated timeframe.

Production time
Standard processing is about 7–12 business days from a paid order. That covers manufacture, inspection and packing.
Transit time
After dispatch, standard shipping is about 7–10 business days. Plan on roughly 14–22 business days from order to delivery.
Estimates, not guarantees
Delivery windows are guidelines. They are not guaranteed delivery dates.
Shipping charges
Charges show at checkout before you pay. Cost can change with destination, size, weight and service.
Delays can happen outside our control, including:
- Courier or postal delays
- Customs processing
- Severe weather
- Public holidays
- Busy periods
- Incorrect delivery details
- Import or border restrictions

Tracking
Where tracking exists, we send details after dispatch. The courier feed can take time to update after handover.
International orders
International shipping may be available for selected products and destinations.
Your responsibility
You must check that the knife, axe or other item is legal to buy, receive and possess where you live.
Duties and tax
Customs duties, import tax and other destination charges are yours unless checkout says otherwise.
Age and local law
Some products have age limits or other rules. You must follow the law in your country and locality.
Orders we cannot fulfil
We may refuse or cancel an order if we reasonably believe it cannot be fulfilled legally.
Address and delivery
Getting the parcel
to you.
Give a complete, accurate delivery address. If a wrong or incomplete address causes a failed delivery or a return, re-delivery can carry extra shipping charges.
If you miss the courier, they may leave collection instructions or try again. Extra charges can apply if a parcel comes back to us and must be sent a second time.
Inspect the package soon after it arrives. If it is damaged, contact us quickly, keep the packaging, and be ready to send photos of the box and the product.
If the order has not arrived in the expected window, contact Alfa Cutlery with your order number so we can check the shipment and, where needed, the courier.

How long does Alfa Cutlery shipping take?
Production 7–12 business days, then shipping 7–10 business days after dispatch. Most UK and US orders arrive in about 14–22 business days.
Are delivery dates guaranteed?
No. Times on this page are estimates. Couriers, customs and other events outside our control can add delay.
Do custom or large orders take longer?
They can. If production needs more than the usual 7–12 business days we will try to tell you the new window.
Who pays import duty?
The customer, unless checkout states otherwise.
What if my order is late or damaged?
Email info@alfacutlery.com with the order number. For damage, keep the packaging and send photographs.
